I’ve started another series of drawings on an old novelty doodle pad. I’ll be posting them on the interwebs as they’re completed.

Hey folks.. If any of you were considering picking up a copy of the doodler book how about ordering straight from the artist? I’ll gladly sign/personalize your copy! Suspect Device #2 is HERE! I’ve got a page and a half in this amazing anthology. It’s easily the best thing I’ve seen (comic-wise) all year. You can get one here.

And then there’s the 2-page spread I did with Bob Pistilli for SECRET PRISON #666 a 2-artist ‘jam’ issue! You see that image below? well that’s like one sixth of the total area of the page, motherfucker. So go get a copy on April 28th or 29th at MoCCA fest. Look for (editor) Ian Harker’s table. ..and if you can’t make it to that then check your Philly area comic store this summer. Oh and they’re FREE.

And then there’s the newest issue of DUGOUT PHUNNIES. Philly-based Comedy legend Jon Goff wrote this and I drew it.. best issue yet IMO! Get a copy here.. WARNING: This is a humor comic for Phillies fans, NOT really something for comics/comix fans. I mean.. I guess you could pick up a copy and treat it like one of those fancy French or Japanese imported comics where you don’t know what anyone is saying but you can just gaze at the amazingly phenomenal artwork. But if you’re not really familiar with the 2012 Phillies roster you’re probably not going to get like 80% of the jokes. Just saying. DUGOUT PHUNNIES Issue #1 now available!

Dugout Phunnies #1 is now available. It’s a self published comic written by comedian and “Voice of the Philly Roller Girls” Jon Goff and myself. It’s got two tales featuring Charlie Manuel and the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.

Warning: If you are NOT familiar with the Phillies’ 2011 roster then you might not get many of the jokes in the book. Just a heads up.

Below I’ve added the first few pages from each of the two stories featured in the book..

In “Hair today, DAMNED Tomorrow” we see what happens when Charlie returns from the off-season sporting a mullet possesed by the devil and Ryan “Big Man” Howard swipes a lock of Charlie’s hair in hopes that it’ll bring him luck. Bad idea, Ryan.

Then in “Aces (in the) Wild” Charlie takes his starters camping and and unexpected friend shows up to put the “wild” in “wilderness”! Uh oh!!

It’s official. There will be a book collecting the diyD series coming out this September by AdHouse Books. It will be released in finer comic and book stores in September but copies should be available as early as this summer on this website.

It’s going to be a nice little affordable book..err..bookLET I should say. 48pages. 5″x7″, softcover.. PLUS it will include a few extras that I will not be posting on line.

If you would like to be notified asap as to when they’ll be available I suggest either joining the Facebook Fanpage or following me on Twitter (where for better or for worse I talk about other art projects and junk).

I’ll also be taking requests for hand-doodled sketches in the books so start thinking of ideas to throw at me..

Looks like I got a piece in the Michael K. Williams collection! I made an edition of six of these small wall pieces back in 2009. I posted them up on Etsy and nearly forgot about them until he tweeted at me last week telling me how much he loved them. So..naturally I was more than happy to send one over to him..hell, the dude played Omar.
