Dugout Phunnies #1 is now available. It’s a self published comic written by comedian and “Voice of the Philly Roller Girls” Jon Goff and myself. It’s got two tales featuring Charlie Manuel and the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.

Warning: If you are NOT familiar with the Phillies’ 2011 roster then you might not get many of the jokes in the book. Just a heads up.

In “Hair today, DAMNED Tomorrow” we see what happens when Charlie returns from the off-season sporting a mullet possesed by the devil and Ryan “Big Man” Howard swipes a lock of Charlie’s hair in hopes that it’ll bring him luck. Bad idea, Ryan.

Then in “Aces (in the) Wild” Charlie takes his starters camping and and unexpected friend shows up to put the “wild” in “wilderness”! Uh oh!!
